Gotcha. 25 renegade is worse. Good out of the hole, but not very fast on the top end.

They make separate nuts for both motor guide and minnkota. You may have to buy both and see which one fits since its been modified, then return the other.

cable or hydro steer? I would jackplate it first if it already has hydro steering. With setback and raising the motor, you might get it right with the 23.
