The engine does smoke considerably on start up. Where on the engine would this check valve be located?

Sorry I don't have the serial numbers written down but I can get them tomorrow. The engine is a 98 mercury 200 EFI. And the pressure was still in the tank 2 days after running it.

My reserve oil tank seems to have pressure built up in it after running the engine. Recent overhaul and i dont remamber pressure in the tank before. Engine seems to be running good no issues oil...
