The extra cup will help with both of your issues, I would hold off on the skid planer until you get prop worked. If you need a foil, I would use one like the Bullets guys run.

I mostly fish, so for that I wouldn't have a dual console. It's much easier to flip fish in the boat without the additional console and my rods are beating on it either.
