I have my 1st gen Cumaras paired up with Bantams and 2020 Metaniums. They look as good as they feel so that's kinda nice too.

I know this won't help as they've been discontinued for years but the 7'4" Heavy first gen Cumara was designed for this purpose and they absolutely nailed it.

I have both and prefer the Bantams for heavier rods and the Metaniums for lighter rods. If you're only getting one I'd probably go with the Metanium.
