Yes I too hope they have this figured out...one would think that they would design these to be updated and accommodating to any differences in transducer. Wayne...use your superpowers and help us...
Nice vid. One of your better ones. Quite the donkey you caught there at 7+ lbs. congrats.
What a great catch for bass pro and Cabela’s. Hats off to them! Very very relatable and helps connect me to the brand.
psssst.....who is she?
MN just passed this left lane law. But if they don’t enforce it, why bother? I think it makes people more frustrated knowing that a law exists but offenders know that it’s a low priority for the...
OK so article says that they were showcasing a crankbait in the tank. They said the crankbait then sold out as a result. Any idea which crankbait they were using in the tank?
Edit: Found...
I abhor the actions of this individual as it is at best an oversimplification of the issue and at worst an act that divides the nation using a symbol of freedom and liberty that so many Americans...
I fondly recall that as well. It's just coupled with the not so fond memory of redline operation every time I was on the water. I too am at the gas station much more often but it is worth the trade...
Thanks for this. Who is your auto insurance with?
Came from a 60 hp merc 4 stroke. Love the 225.
Listen, no one upgrades to this level of hp to save fuel. Just study the power and mpg curves and enjoy the machinery. I don’t cruise very often...
I see those $3-$5 round led lights at Walmart and homedepot. If I thought I would really use them that’s what I would try.

Mine drops to 12-14 mpg when I tow. Have a ranger z519 w 225 merc. So a bit heavier than yours....
W those water temps what were they hitting? And how deep were they? On a hump?
I believe since this is connected to your car, it is not covered through your boat insurance but your auto insurance. Someone correct me if wrong?
Great for the city of Indianapolis too (my hometown). Penske has always loved Indy. He will be a good steward of that hallowed ground.
Great, good to know. The cavity it leads to allowed it to continue draining a bit after resealing...that's what caused me to shine the light into it to see what I was dealing with. No more drips...

Just finished changing the oil and gear lube on the engine.
Upon cleaning up I shined a light into the middle of the oil drain valve. I was surprised to see that it did not close...
That “resource” site is to do one thing. Make money for its site owner. Period. To the point where products of sponsors are hocked with less than legitimate opinions. Do not believe any of the...
LOL got it.
I want so badly to hit the water for another swing at some big fish. Afraid that this week will cool things down even further. Water temps already below 48. With so few bites if...

Surprised this thread and vid are not getting more comments...are we not to worry as modern engines are built to withstand the effects/impact of a limited level of ethanol in our fuels?
@macsimus: wow a chunker...what did it hit and where was it sitting? That is in weeds, how deep etc.
So slower applications where there is lower flow rates? Such as?
Makes me worried about these motors overheating.
