not hard at all.... I think it came from Flow-rite... like $40 bucks
Thanks!!! I will order the new battery box for the Group 31 battery.
Did you put the battery in the back...or move it to the front?
Thanks.... I appreciate it.. and will clean it up when everything is out... may also reverse and put the oil tank in back ( I installed a remote oil fill kit) (Merc 150)... so I should not need to...
Mine is merc… and I have added a remote fill for the oil tank…. So I think I may reversed it and put the oil tank in the back and have the battery in the front…. But yes… kinda feels like a PITA…...
The tilt bracket is useful if you keep it in a garage with a low clearance.... I have two tilt brackets on mine, but never really use them since mine clear my door opening.
Thanks, I wish mine had easy access J… it is on the starboard side… behind the oil tank. Mine clearly won’t fit over it… so the oil tank will have to come out.
I am about to replace my cranking battery... it is in the back behind the oil tank (150 Merc) Guessing the oil tank has to be removed.....any advice or words of wisdom from experience?
Agree.... I have called them several times for parts for two different rangers... always VERY helpful!
I have a 10' black talon... and the paint is coming off in a few places... has anyone ever repainted or dipped the outside of one? Just curious if dipping is an option... or if rattle can paint is...
Great. THANK YOU!!
Wayne, Thanks for all your help. If I go with 2 Solix units... they would share everything correct?
So if I had that Ethernet switch... would they share data and transducers? I was going to just get a downscan for the TM (Helix), and the Sidescan for the Console (Solex)...Thoughts?
Wayne.. will the Helix and Solix network together?
Working on upgrading electronics... Here is what I am thinking about, but I wanted to get items that work together... please let me know if anyone has any experience or knowledge on if they will work...
love the idea of the cable covers!
I would think going to a SS prop ( instead of the Aluminum) would also get you a few mph gain
@bigred2030.... Will you PM me once you locate one? My graph is still in the space, but has a button or two that do not work... and I have a Lowrance mounted on the deck... so I would like to remove...
another great point FnF... THANKS
Thanks Cestratton!
Jeff.... that could have been the issue... and that's a great point. I think I will pull the wheels and see how things look... and unlock the actuator and try it locally.... and see what happens....
both were pretty warm. by the time we stopped... we didn't see any smoke, but could smell brake pad. We locked the actuator.... and then we got on more open road.... with less stopping and up to 65...
Roberto... THANKS! That helps me.... but I really need the three that are at the front of the boat on the bow.
Keep in mind... your height off the deck plays a role in the "pattern" of the light... connect one to a 9v and raise and lower it near the deck.... just verify it before you start drilling :)
