We just bought a new place on the lake here in OK. 2nd day in it, Emergency management comes out and tells us that we either need to stock up on food or leave for a while. Our house is going to be...
My 186 has a bit of port side high effect when its coming down, but levels out quick. I tried to work it out, but ended up fighting the steering more once on plane, so I put it back.
I have a 97 186 TF with a 150 but the tag shows its rated for 150. If it is rated higher then it will be longer than 18'6". Bixby is a bit of a stretch for me. Im in Mannford.
Just FYI on the price, I gave 8k for my 98 186 with a 150 on it in 2003. I know I got a banner deal on it, but price should reflect a 20 year old boat.

Not me either. I am stuck at work that weekend.
I won't lie, I stumbled onto my 186 by accident. Since I purchased it, I have had nothing but positive experiences from ride, storage layout and amount, and factory support even though I bought mine...
Is it safe to assume that the new body style coincided with the timeframe for Charger going to 100% composite? I was told that '06 was the date of the change. Just curious.

Wow! If I decide to swap my old 186 for a new one, I know what colors I want! That is sweet.
My 186 had the switches in the dash and they were hot, but if you traced them back they simply had a butt connector on the end. I talked to the guys at the factory and they said it was an option that...
WOW! I was kinda skeptical when you were describing the color scheme before, but now I no longer doubt your ability to design a scheme! She is a knock-out! Congrats on a sweet rig.
Well a couple of you know I have been having electrical issues with my little boat, and I almost have this mess remedied. Now I have uncovered another phenomena that the previous owner refuses to...
Makes sense. Now for part 2- Will a 40 amp breaker be adequate to run the 12 volt system on my boat? ie Start, lights, locators ect..... I am replacing my entire switch panel and fuse box. My goal is...
What is the reason for Nav lights to be set up on DPDT switches every time? Is it a bad thing to set it up to power both lights simultaniously?
Here is a question for any of you wire weenies out there. I have been having issues with just about every accessory on my 98 Charger 186 that comes off of the switch panel. The more I try to trouble...
Thanks Mike, I will clean those tonight and see what kind of insanity I come up with from there. I do have 1 bad switch, and my panel is cracked. I made a lexan "frame" to go around the panel to keep...
Thanks for the help guys! I called the factory and they don't have any panels left that will fit my rig. The wiring on the back of the panel is a conglomerated mess, but its pretty easy to sift...
OK, I am now in over my my head! I started with trouble shooting an issue with one of my Livewells. I found a bad crimp. I repaired this and was all smiles until i hooked the batery back up nd turned...
Ok, this is going to sound pathetic, but has anyone used the Terrova yet that can settle my distrust in the cheesy looking mount? It looks like the old Pontoon mount. How well does it handle standard...
You guys should state this when setting up a web page! The web pages are a tool that 80% of todays buyers are going to use as a comparison tool. Long gone are the days of driving X distance to find...
