Heat gun works well. Toaster oven does as well.

Wire tie it. .24 -.26 gauge will hold it in place. Floral wire from hobby lobby.

I have had to open the cavities some with a drill bit. But heat should cure it. A ladle may be your ticket. A little more accurate than the pot and you are not
lifting as much lead. Keep the ladle...

No recipe but looking at the picture I would go with a green pumpkin recipe and darken it with black to get close. .40 black flake and .15 flake in purple, green, aqua blue, and black.
Just about all 60 degree flat eye hook will work.
All those do-it molds are easy to modify as well with rubber mallets, dremel tool, file, and some rtv high heat silicone.
