I would not. There is a very small dead space but if you go to high or to low you will go all the way through the fiberglass. Mint it at the back of the box or on the center storage side.

If you go to the transmit tab under menu while on the livescope page and click off does that shut the transducer off or just quit transmitting to the graph?
