Nice day. Why put in them in the livewell if you’re releasing them? Why stress them for no reason.

Agree. Try jb weld first and if it fails it is an easy repair just to weld back on.
I have cool hubs on my 08. I use Royal Purple 50wt and change oil annually and seals every few years. If they weep oil you should change the axle sleeve as well. A groove being worn from the seal...
Make sure the motor is tilted up a little. I have had that issue a couple times but since trimming it up before shut down and during start up it has been fine.
Some had issue, some didn’t. Tons of them out there still. My 08 3.3 Vmax is Over 12 years old and has been just as reliable as my previous 130 I owned for 17 years. IMO you see as many or more SHO...
Prayers sent.
Very cool.
Painful to watch. Better man than me. Some real ugly right there.
What a generous offer! Good man. :thumb up2:
Yes, it’s purpose is electrolysis and corrosion prevention. If that wire carried enough current to melt insulation I would think you would immediately see a failure or evidence in something much...
Mine have no insulation either
Unlikely for the wire to get hot from electrical resistance or issue. Certainly something external could have melted it. Sure it’s not some type of abrasion?
Nothing melted, it is a ground strap. Technically does not need any insulation. Cheers!
Are you talking about removing post to bring to welder or mobile? Mobile will most likely cost more than a new post. If brought to them and not to busy you could probably wait during real the repair...
Bought my 225 in 07. Next to the 130 I had for 17 years this has been a great engine. Very reliable and has been easy to work on. I change the under cowl filter in clear bowl and 10 micron between...
3 ft American eel many times on the Niagara River and Lake Ontario. The worst is at night when you finally meet face to face. Snip!
If the tach fluctuates with engine rpm, then yes it certainly could be fuel related. If the tach bounces and engine rpm stays constant it has nothing to do with fuel.
If the water pressure gauge is not working, how are you sure of the pressure? If you’re sure that is fine and not overheating then start looking at fuel delivery.
I never saw in the video the boat plane out. Also, is water pressure gauge broke, it’s reading zero. Sure its not in limp from running hot? Sounds to be running on all 6 eliminating the neutral...
YoutubeTV(unlimited DVR), Prime and Netflix
My entire cluster can tilt back once screws are removed and I have access to the back of the tach. Not sure of your set up, or if your tach will need to be removed, but yes the dial is on the...
Mine would read high then bounce back to normal. I indexed the setting a few times and it has been fine.
Could be a dirty potentiometer (pot) selector on back of tach that is set for number of poles. Likely set to 6p. This gets dirty similar to a scratchy volume control. Pull dash back and use a flat...
Yes, Yamaha makes the 6y5w0088-00
Put in at Ledge Rock. Wildlife was there and I asked how things were going. Said too many are not keeping one to a boat or immediate family. Said way too many not practicing social distancing. He was...
