Last year I put an ultrex on my boat. This year I put these lithium batts in and they are awesome.... Bluetooth, Self heating, SOC indicator on top...

Not true. Has happened to me for over 40 years of tournament fishing. Even with brand new big batteries. Lead acid batteries start loosing voltage right from the start.

When a lead acid/AGM battery loses 1 volt of power as it runs down, I notice a significant loss of thrust and actual gps speed on the troller.... I'm thinking that the LiFePo4 batteries offer more...

I never understood why people take a maintenance free product and turn it into a maintenance item.
Batteries in the front kill your speed. Too much weight for the motor/prop to lift. Too much wetted surface to gain speed. Drag = slow.
2000-3000. It used to be much more. We used to keep count.
