Solo setup
2 batteries passenger side
1 center
50-75 lbs in passenger side gunnel
Your setup is fine now for 2 people side by side as evidence by it running well with your wife with you.
Starting battery cancels out battery on driver side.
Group 24 45 lbs group 27 60 lbs.
Fishing gear is likely 50 lbs or less…
Unless you only weight 100 lbs your out of balance.
Buy 75/100...
If it drove that much better with wife in boat, your weight distribution is way off.
Work on balancing the boat before you push to hard. A balanced Allison is a happy and more forgiving Allison…...
Beautiful
I agree.
Sounds about right.
Not gonna beat fastbass marine
Yup they really come alive with a 300
Dealer or factory both will have them
70s is a transition area as far as lift. Once it crosses 80 and is on the pad, if the boat is balanced it will lock in and go with a lot less wheel work. But you should be able to drive in the...
More weight can be saved with the trolling batteries than with a cranking battery. For sure switching all could make combo even lighter.

Even faster with his troller on in the 2 seat version to satisfy you. PS I want a 300r so I can catch up
Post said fastest you’ve been not fastest with troller. It’s 98 with troller and 95 with a 2 guys and gear
See link in above post. Confirmed on 3 devices. Vbox data logger, go pro, and my in dash garmin.
If your worried here’s a link...with gps overlay. I can send a pic of my graph to if you need it..it was asking for another bump of the trim to level out but my goal was only 100 so I didn’t push....
100 Allison xb21 300xs.
You need to get a fellow Allison owner to help you get the setup right.
It was my boat but I’d love to help set his up. Plenty of props to try and a river that’s as long as you need to get up to speed.
Balsa B I have more props to try... we can make it run....

Something has to be off that boat should be 90+ all day
Put your foot to the floor and ease into the trim. They drive exceptionally well above 83
Yes and trim angle to . The boat sure behaves much better once you cross that threshold it seems. I think that’s where aerodynamics start helping the hydrodynamics
Hey into the 80s, if the motor height, trim and boat balance is right you barely have to drive it. I’m with the other guys, at 70 it’s not on the pad yet
