I have a bunch of bfs rods and find that I use my Dobyns Sierra 740 (7’4”…casts a mile) more than most. A bit over $150 but is a great rod & available all over.
Trying to move to display numbers shown in upper left in the photo.
My 1222gpsmap in panoptics (livescope) mode the display for depth, water temp, volts is in the upper left part of the screen & blocks the view of fish 10 feet out & ten feet down (varies with...
Ranger (a nasty IPA) & PBR….that being said I actually drink Busch Light because no lingering effects the next day (even though it’s crap beer)…so what do I know!
BFS: Bait Finess Systems....converting baitcasting reels to throw ultra light lines & baits...lots of parts to swap out but starts with a lighter spool (spins easier for lighter lines/baits),...
Yup…lure wraps…can even buy at wally world now.
All my rods have a wrap if 2” blue magic tape (removes w/o residue) above the grip. All include line weight, date spooled, brand/model of line…could add info for technique.
Yup…what they said (above). Bfs is the ticket. Think baitcasters BUILT for ultralight fishing. US market is behind but getting there. Shimano & Daiwa have some out now for US market for around $200....
Stupid question…but other than wearing the #fbd (whether it be fish boat docks or F%+%B.D.) what is it that Watson is alleged to have done that violated policy? Was there an incident fishing off...
Hadn't heard of them...went through his catalog & found another product that I needed....thanks!
mooreslures.com may have what you're looking for.
I wear the Huk slip ins because THEY DON'T SLIP ON WET SURFACES...I wear every day now because of comfort.
I forgot about them! Ty

I am looking for more options on the purchase of spinner blades as shown in the photo other than Barlow, Lureparts online, Jancraft, & Aliexpress. I really want is the brass colored ones about the...
Another option to consider for trout would be BFS gear. Think of it as ultralight but with a baitcasting reel/rod. I can throw a ton of trout baits down to nearly 1/32 ounce pretty easily. Fun...
Gambler Bob….Super funny. Needed a good laugh…ty
I use them as targets for my air rifles (indoors with appropriate backstop)…still fun.
Those are some funny responses.
He gets it…that’s funny!
That’s accurate because it is “A” (singular) 16 foot boat. Well done!
Just heard another national television fishing celebrity refer to the water as being “16 foot” deep. People it’s as simple as “singular” (one) vs “plural” (more than one). If you are referring to...
Pic rigged…ignore crappy plastic I threw on it.
I made a system of heads/hooks where the lead head can be slid forward/backward to account for the weight of the particular plastic so that the entire bait IS BALANCED HORIZONTALLY…not pointing...
You didn’t specify a budget…I have bfs’s set ups from under $100 to $1,000. I’ve replaced almost all of my spinning rigs (Steez, glx’s, nrx’s) and haven’t looked back (trying to keep weight off a bad...
I’m considering buying a Terrova tm for an aluminum boat just based upon price to get spotlock but am wondering about steering with the foot controller. My only basis for comparison are a Ultrex...
