There is plenty of grass and Lilly pads still in the coves and creeks. I haven’t been in a few weeks but when I was there last the fish were still out in deeper water. We had a cold snap so they...
I thought this thread was going to be a picture of Original Tin blocking the ramp.......
That's a huge front deck
Here is a side by side size comparison to scale if it helps anyone
That is true to a point. A bigger motor on the same boat is going to use more fuel than a smaller motor as long as the smaller motor can maintain your cruise speed in its best mpg rpm. The reality...
I would look used and stay away from the fish sand ski. I have yet to meet someone who likes them. They don’t fish well and they don’t ski great. You can pull a tube behind a tin bass boat easy.

Children will remain childish.
I texted you and emailed you the pics cdrmarse. Hope they help, if you need to see anything else let me know I am working on the boat today so it is no trouble
Initial cost wise you are right but in the long run you can resell the Ranger for more down the road so the cost difference becomes a wash. IMO buy which one that you like better.
Hey brother, sorry I didn't post yesterday. I cant seem to get the pictures below the ridiculous 97kb limit for picture size on this forum. If you still need the pics I am happy to mail them to...
I can take some tomorrow morning. I will take some of how it mounts if anything else before the morning let me know
Heavy and a longer anchor line. I used to use a small mushroom anchor and it worked well but I had to have the line out pretty far to get it to hold essentially allowing it to bury. Heavier anchor...
Well done Mr Moderator
Smaller boats are much more fun. I miss the old 14 ft jon boat I used to have. It was tippy but I could maneuver it anywhere and didn't worry one bit about it. Keep us up to date on the build
http://www.bbcboards.net/showthread.php?t=889500 like this one that he went back and edited it about 30 hours after he posted it? You can see where I quoted him in post 14 (before he edited it) to...
If you want to use a PS22 you have only one option....Garmin.
I always hear great things about him. A local legend for sure
I have found the non chirp for cheap...look for that if you aren’t planning on panoptix
I have a baystar on my 115 and I think that is the limit. I would go SeaStar on the 150
My old tin 16 ft Jon boat was very tinny, my rt188 sounds like a glass boat compared to it but wheb a wave slaps the boat hard I guess it does sort of make that sound. I can live with it but if it’s...
Any advantage of the all plastic one over the ones that use rubber bumpers?
36V is great on a tin. Lithium is WAY to expensive for my blood as a "fun" fisherman so I deal with a little extra weight. My boat can still run mid 40's which is more than I need for drowning...
He recommended that the OP "pull his drain plug and after 45 min he wont have any more tin sounds in his boat"....its a douche bag comment and not helpful. EVERY single thread has some stupid...
Dude, I have watched about 10 threads over the last month or so that you have been involved in and I gotta say.....you are a complete douche bag that does nothing but troll this site. You add no...
