Update picked up a 25 T1. It’ll turn 5500 rpm now but only 62-63 mph. Something just isn’t right.

Put a set of plugs in and ran it. Ran 5150rpm wise. But it was cooler yesterday also. Any more suggestions. It’ll run 68mph at 5150 rpm

Are the throttle cams the same on a 225 and 250 the same? I know the one on a 200 is shorter and only lets the butterfly’s one 3/4 throttle. Thanks!

Update found the correct ECU and ran the boat last night. I did not pick up any mph or difference between the 225 and 250 swap. Do I need to adjust anything?

Update: figured out the ECU I bought was off an 04. Looking for one off an 05 or newer now. Any ideas where I can find one?

I have same boat with a 225 HPDI only getting 69mph at 5750rpm 25m prop that’s been worked.

Have a 07 225 HPDI. Had the idea to swap the injector drivers and the computer out with 250 HPDI stuff. I’ve heard it can be done BUT I back boat in and turn the key the motor starts and has a miss....

Buying a 08 225 HPDI was wondering what rigging harness I will need as I am changing from Evinrude and was wondering was else I will need.

Going to repower my Stratos from an Evinrude to a Yamaha HPDI 225. What are somethings that I need to know about this motor. Oil, maintenance etc. I know I heard something about filters. Thanks!
