Have you checked the motor height on the transom? There's a good chance it's all the way down and may be too low. But I would expect a 16ft with a 90 to be in the 40s. But more rpm doesn't always...

If it hasn't been on the water in 2 years, then yea you need to clean the carbs. Which means full disassembly and thorough cleaning. Just spraying some carb cleaner around doesn't count as cleaning...
I'm running the teleflex NFB cable system. I'm happy with it. With my 115hp and 55mph it does great. I love the nfb aspect. And I caught a deal on it for $150 brand new
I have that as well. Been 6 months been pretty happy with it. I have had worse carpet for sure. Definitely better out there but for the money I was happy with the 20oz from bass boat seats.
It looks...
Mine in the lower unit is messed up, boat came with one that mounts to the transom. It is really close to my gps speed, within 2 mph, that's enough to quick glance to check speed. If I'm testing...
I found a deal on a outboard 4 gauge sierra set. Tach, speedo, volt and fuel for $58 on Amazon. They had it listed as just the trim gauge, but the part number showed as the full set. Took a chance...
Man you gained some speed! But your rpms are still too low.
From 46 to 60 is awesome!
For the $80k your gonna spend on a boat, you can build a bigger garage. I wouldn't want to deal with that every time I used my boat.
I had to measure length and beam, then narrow the chart down. Then googled the model numbers left to see what my 84 was. It worked though
No problem, not sure about you, but I dont want a big drop hanging off the back when I only need half the amount. Don't want the hitch hanging up on stuff
Keep in mind how much rake you have too, if you just leveled your hitch height will actually lower a tad. So with the lift I would say 4.5-5 inch drop from your current will put you in the ballpark

Same boat here. I did mine by myself with contact cement as well. I had the same concerns about movement, but it was actually not bad. Just rough cut a piece, put it in the boat, folded half back,...
That's what I'm thinking. I have run interstate for years with very heavy sound system demands and have always had great luck with interstate.
And 3 batteries don't just go bad all together. Maybe...
I use a regular plug, I put it in while I'm removing the rear straps, and remove it while putting the straps back on... no big deal.
Well I tested it, and it didn't bite worth a dang.
I took my prop in, they added a bunch of cup, should help bite and bring rpms down some.
I also picked up a 6" Vance manual jackplate. Wondering...
I made a new one out of stainless. Im about to make new dash panels from stainless as well. Just something different from plain black plastic.
I'm right there with you. I did all that on my boat, a couple days later my wife was sanding a dresser. Then she blew all the sawdust out with the leaf blower.... my boat was covered in sawdust. From...
I ordered my seats and carpet Burgundy to match the boat. Ended up not matching my Burgundy at all so I did all tan seats and carpet. Probably good I did since I live in Texas hahaha. They have been...
The OP states it does have a trim tab fyi.
I always thought you wanted the trim tab mostly straight. Thats how all my boats have been.
I'm thinking that frontier will be maxed out with just about any travel trailer options, mainly because of payload. You gotta factor in people weight and extra stuff loading into the truck as well....
Wonder if the prop is tightened too much? Or maybe wrong trust washer?
The Cmap one is free and seems to work pretty good. But I haven't spent much time on it.
I did mine myself... wasn't real fond of it. Would I pay someone to do the next one, no. But it wasn't one of those fun diy projects either. It was a tedious chore. But in the end I'm glad its done,...
Man with your rpms, I'm thinking your gonna need at minimum at 21p, maybe even a 19p prop
You might verify your tach is setup right. I would imagine it would have different tach settings on the...
Block of wood on the jack, jack it up right on the keel back near a more level point. Thats how I did my bow roller. It has a bit of weight on the bow roller.
