What two plugs look different?
Didnt take 30 minutes to pull the powerhead. Yes we applied rtv around the water jacket holes when putting heads back on. I don’t know what part number he got on the impeller.
I got there after he ran it so he may have had water to high. We pulled the head powerhead and his gasket should be here today or tomorrow. We will try it when we get it back together. If that...
Yes. Has a strong stream but not much comes out up at thermostat. We started it with thermostat out. All we could get was what looked like exhaust smoke. But we did have lower unit in a tub. Think we...

Does the buzzer go off after you sit for a few minutes? I’m gonna bet it’s your filter on the oil reservoir in the boat. Pull the reservoir out of bracket and lay on its side. The filter is on the...

You can get a total rebuild kit for around 14-1500 bucks. You will need to send injectors off to be cleaned and calibrated. And then block work would be your only other thing. Probably for less then...
You can tighten the steering by turning wheel all the way to one side then pull the wheel as hard as you can that way. Turn it opposite way and crank on it. Do this several times back and forth....
Sounds like you need the vacuum fuel pumps on side of motor changed
You could take the hubs to a machine shop and have them drill and tap the backside of hub for a grease fitting. You would need it tapped right between rear race and seal. All the benefits of drilled...
97Triton,
you should have called MFI in Winchester TN. I called them and they built mine while I was driving there. Had me fixed up. They are the ones who built our trailers. Didn't have to measure...
Pull the cap back off. Clean the inside of the hub a little then with a small screwdriver feel around about a 1/4 inch inside the hub for a small groove. I think they may have started using the seal...
You can find the a60 if that's what you have in the 140 range.
The new inner will come with a break away cable. It will have everything on it. You don't need the solenoid. Most drums trailers have free backing shoes. If you have 10 inch which is proabbaly what...
My helix 7 has stop showing depth today. Was working fine a week ago. Went fishing today and not showing any depth. Checked wires and cord and they are all cosmetically fine. Hooked to my helix 7 si...

Sorry, I saw hpdi and missed the year model.
Make sure you don't have water leaking somewhere in the cowl. If you do when you hit a wave it will bounce water into your intake and make it run bad until it clears out. Then you will regain rpms.
You maybe cheaper in the long run to install command link gauges. It's one set of wires ran to the motor. I installed one not long ago and love it.
