Call your insurance company first. They will recommend a company like Servpro to come out and remove the buckled flooring and set up driers to suck the moisture out.
Then get a few bids to replace...

You may have a jam. Sometimes a very small piece of nail can get stuck up there. Try pushing the firing pin up and look behind it.

I've always called them consoles in a bass boat. Why do some people say council ? I know not to sweat the small stuff but it irritates me. Must be getting old lol!

How about also a stainless oil fill cap for us 2 stroke guys and maybe a stainless cover with a spring close lid for the charger cable.
More bling the better.
I just bought the cheapest boat cover from bass pro. I got the 24 ' and it covers the motor also on my 819.
I think it was $150.00.
