Can I just update Mega Live without updating my Apex units to the new software update?

To me it looks like it is picking up something on the boat, out board lower unit, trim tabs ,power poles?

I use my HW on the 2KW port works great.

I didn't mount mine at first but stuck it to the boat with 2 sided tape for a couple outings just to make sure it was in the right place. Had magnetic interference at first with the motor running....

On my Apex the Aqua view camera has to be on and plugged in before I boot up the Apex. Hope this helps.
