How does she look after all the rain? We were headed down Tuesday and they had the roads closed before Burksville because of flooding.

You can be running down the lake and start to smell it in certain areas. Makes you wonder just how bad can our two stroke motors be with that happening naturally?

You guys that go back down in the fall or winter to fish when do the SM normally shallow up again to feed? Thinking about trying another trip down later this year. One guy I know always goes down...

We finally caught a few with 4# the biggest. Everything came on Shakey Head worm in 10-15 fow. Toughest trip we have ever had down there. Weather was beautiful though.

Anybody doing any good today? We have tried everything and can’t buy a bite. Haven’t seen any on beds either but the water is up a foot or so.

Hasn’t changed much in a month. That is only a few degrees warmer than it was when we were down mid March.

What’s the current water temps at Dale? We will be heading down first week in May.

Where is the best place to get a seal kit for my hydraulic steering. HC5345 is the part number. I noticed one side is leaking some fluid and helm fill hole is low.

Well I got it done. Ended up using Teflon tape ad screwed it up flush and snug. Ball tightened up and no leaks. I will check again later just to make sure. Thanks for the help.

Sorry not the filter itself but the sending unit that screws into the bottom of it were the wire hooks up. Also how far into the filter does it go?

Basic question but when installing a new fuel filter/water separator do you put anything on the threads of the screw in sensor on the bottom or just screw it in snug?

We are heading back down the first week in May. Things should be a lot different by then. Might try staying at Dale Hollow Marina this time in one of their boatels. Spread this out of state money...

Saw a few locals using live bait against steep bluffs also. Not sure if they were catching any though. Colder weather coming isn’t going to help the bite any. Warmest water temp we found was 53...

We had a great trip. Stayed at Cedar Hill. Cabins were dated but very clean. Nice boat slips. We caught all of our fish on jerkbaits. Biggest was a LM 5# 14 oz. Largest SM was 4# even. Caught three...

I agree. Man has messed up a lot trying to “push” or “force” religion on people. Jesus never took this approach. He taught Love and Forgiveness. This is the only way to win people over.
