Mark, you are correct in that both port and starboard sides are the same until the bottom which has a divider. Each side of the divider holds 3 to 3.5 gallons.

As already mentioned, they are four screw hole depressions for the Medallion pick-up. The four screw hole depressions have been removed from the mold so the newer boats will not have them.
