    It is actually two screws that you need to tighten. Take of the black plastic cover around the base of the steering wheel and tighten the two phillips screws. Easy fix. Bill

    I built my own out of aluminum and saw zero increase in hole shot numbers. I didn't do it for backwash. Just give your boat some throttle just before it starts to sit down in the water. Bill
