I know your referring to the the holes. But have you thought about getting a thin (1/8 or 1/4) white cutting board? You can square it up to cover up the holes and still use the same area to remount.

Another good tip with them is, if your going to add blue water LED strips, you can run the wires in the center for a clean look instead of going through the he drilled holes.
