This short beep you refer to that I have/ had. Since the PCM's are different now should you get the additional beep every time?? Mine is still some starts do and some don't. No real rhyme...

I have an 08 250 pro XS that has a very noisy trim as well. Going up sounds normal, trimming back down sounds bad. Thoughts when only noisy in one direction??

Best place to place ground lead to check??

If I understand correctly the cranking battery is getting sapped "through" the on board charger somehow??
