Try to run the trim up slowly. Like small bumps of the switch. If you get running wide open, try bumping the trim back down a couple times

That means you have around 21% prop slip, which is way to much slip. If the prop is in good condition, then you need to let the motor down or take some weight out of the boat

A 25T1 pushes mine to 80+mph in a small lake, when it was stock, a 25m went 72. You either have a crap prop or motor height is too high with too much trim. What is your rpm and speed?

I had to go to eBay. Watch out for salt water ECM's too. They drop cylinders during idle. The salt water series part number will start with 65. Like 65K. Need to look for any that start with 66
