Try Cole Hardwood or Pike Lumber Company. The DNR will help with timber sales.
Go to Big Jim's videos and you will see a recommendation for a longer trailer hitch from Etrailer.com
My previous boat was a BassCat with a Deans Top and Canvas cover. They made me a boat cover bag and it works great for my Phoenix cover. Around $45 about 10 years ago.
In my case, the psi gauge was leaking water in the console. I had it removed and only use the SmartCraft guage.
I have a new Phoenix coming out of a BassCat and ending up buying a Mustang life vest from Midway USA. Phoenix could never tell me a delivery time.
Just guessing, maybe 25#.
In case some don't know, the extended draw bar Big Jim suggested and I purchased is not tubular steel. It's solid steel.
I did what Big Jim suggested and it's a big help. But, I try to turn left as much as possible.
The apparel is handled by http://www.threds.com. I ordered a fleece jacket from the Phoenix website and returned the jacket. It went back to Threds. I sent them 2 fitted hats and they embroidered...
My 2 month old Ultrex needed the circuit board replaced and I'm told that's a fairly common repair.
The lake is about 2.5 feet low. You have to be careful leaving the ramp area. I'm told some good bags were weighed last weekend.
I was out there yesterday also. Glad it was a car. We thought the worst when we saw the Sheriff's boat and divers onboard. Saw the car on our way back through the bridge.
I prefer launching in the state park on the west side and I normally fish on the west side. Be careful on the east side, there are trees just under the water surface.
Put your phone on record and place it in the box, shut the lid, and view your recording. It may help.
Big Jim,
I know the Fusion radio bluetooths with the phone, but how is it connected to the Humminbird? Is it through bluetooth or NMEA2000?
Thanks,
There isn't any lake permit needed currently, but it's possibly in the works. There is a ramp use fee for each visit, but the ramp workers aren't there because of COVID-19.
We went to Geist today to get out and have some "social distancing". At 3:00 we decided to leave, but we find there is a weigh-in going on at the docks. People are all over each other boats,...
I have a 2011 200HP Optimax ProXS, serial #1B885864 and I believe my trim sensor cable is bad. My trim gauge appears to be working but on zero trim and my other digital gauge shows zero trim. I...
I have a new 920 Pro Xp boat on order and ordered a Fusion radio. Does anyone know which model comes with the boats?
Thanks
I'm looking at buying a 2020 920 ProXP boat and the boat information states the beam is 96" wide. I have a 2020 catalog and the pictures show boat measurements. Inside to inside in front of the...
I have an 898 SI combo on the console of my boat and it appears the power button is stuck in ON position. The unit will start-up to the start-up screens, but none of the other buttons will work and...
There is a show in Kokomo this weekend, I believe Noblesville the weekend of the 18th with Honey Creek Tackle the same weekend.
Many people remove the tubes.
Is anyone having problems with Norton Security blocking basscat.com? My pc is listing basscat.com as a dangerous web page.
Thanks,
