Should beep when u turn the key on.Let's u no alarm is working. Oil pick up would cause it to derate.Check ur ki switch real good. I'm thinking fuel lines maybe.

If it's spinning over fast enough. It's probably a fuel line. Mine had a crack in the line that caused me grief for weeks til found it. Mine cranks quickly.
