I fished there yesterday. Water temps were 43-45 and clear (no noticeable stain from heavy recent rains). We caught about a dozen bass (50/50 LM and SM). Biggest LM just under 5 and biggest SM...
Anyone know why the eel grass is becoming so prolific the last few years? We have alot more on the Potomac as well.
Small one.
I've fished a few Costas as a co there and alot of guys like to use the ultravibe speed craw for c-rigging.
I had a guy on the St. Lawrence explain to me that the flat is supposed to go down. He claimed that it made the bait fall to the bottom with a slight added shimmy that supposedly made it look more...
Thanks for the info guys! I used to do a yearly trip there in February but its been 8 or 9 years since my last trip. Hopefully its still decent fishing this time of year like it was back then. ...
Thanks!, had't considered Abingdon.
Does anyone know of a boat friendly hotel near South Holston? Looking specifically for a place that has hookups for charging. Looking to go in the next couple weeks. I also posted this in the TN...

This is what we use as well. Works great, but you need a pretty large data plan from your cell service if you plan to stream alot.
I had the pleasure of fishing with him during Costa event at Lake Erie. One of the nicest guys i have ever fished with. The thing that surprised me the most about him was how genuinely exited he...
The very back of the headwaters can be good in September if you go. Alot will hit it on the weekends but you should have it mostly to yourself during the week. There are several good...
On a bungie cord hooked into the headliner grab bars.
Or good practice for when you have to play the real life version....after 4 kids I've had to play a round or two.
Good to know. Thanks for the heads up. I don't mind the mud as much as I mind the floating debris.
Thinking of taking the kids fishing at the James this Friday. Probably fish some of the creeks around the Jordan Point area (Herring, Queens, etc.). Anyone know if all the rain in Lynchburg last...
We fished Elite 70 on Sunday. Had 16.56 and finished 8th. Winners had 19 +. We caught all but 1 on swim jigs. Bite was pretty good as we caught around 25 fish.
I also idled/scanned most of Arkandal and only found a few small patches there. It had been a few years since I fished that so maybe this has been the norm but was disappointing to say the least.
I fished Aquia this weekend. Most of the grass I found was eelgrass and shallow solid blankets of hydrilla. I did find some deeper coarser hydrilla that held a few bass but found very little to no...
I usually find them in the backs of the flattest main lake pockets in the mid lake region. Same as looking for bass just put TM on high and check as many as possible. They usually come back to the...
I'm planning on going Friday as well. From what I've heard its muddy but still navagatable. Lots of floaters is the only thing that I'm worried about. You can always find a creek with some...
I switched to a model of glasses that don't sit as tightly against my face and it helped alot.
I should have specified that the first pic is of the old prop I had replace with not gap and the second is of the new prop with gap.

Is it possible the gap between the step on the prop lip and the lower unit is causing my prop to blow. The blow out is...
