Any certain website you order from? All the ones im finding are not my motor specific and are running from $35 and up.
Thank you for the suggestion! Searched that and it popped up under the exhaust housing diagram. Never donged on me to search there. Turned out to just be "water tube". OMC 335520.
Cant figure out how to upload pictures so hopefully i can be descriptive enough for this part identification. While installing the lower unit, i took a chunk out of a thick plastic tube that is...
I installed both. The gauge is basically plug and play. The sender unit is 3 wires plus 2 grounds. Wires are color mated so im 100% sure thats correct. I also cleaned up the surfaces for the ground...
Bumping this thread.
Ive installed a new gauge and a new sending unit. Im getting roughly the same readings. Wiring issue im assuming now?
I have had two different motors on my boat and the trim gauge has never worked. I just purchased another OMC gauge to install and it reads the same as the old, full down position at all times....
I was looking into taking it to Fast Glass for an estimate since they are the closest to me. Ill probably give C&O a call as well since i was planning on ordering a flow-rite valve from them. The...
I struck an underwater boulder this past weekend and gouged my pad pretty good. Not enough to cause any leaking from what i see but definitely enough to cause performance issues. I see a few places...

This right here!! Im 15 minutes from OHL and 45 minutes from JPP and 1 1/2 hours from Dale Hollow. Id choose JPP to live on except for the summer, too many pleasure boaters.
Plug for the trolling motor? A picture would be helpful.
Kaepernick blacklisted himself, not the NFL.
A hole shot plate mounts to the bottom of the jackplate and prevents that gush of water through the jackplate when you put the throttle down. My 24 raker is out getting reworked right now and i plan...
I have the same setup except I have a holeshot plate on mine. I'm still messing with p2p myself. 3 1/4 to 3 1/2 inches is recommended for this setup but I have terrible prop blowout at that height...
This the same setup I have. I installed a rod strap on the rear deck to where the butt of the poles are against the transom and the tips hang over the rod locker. Also, storing rods on the right side...
If its been sitting for 6 years, itll more than likely take more than a working ignition to get it on the water.
For something at that age, it wouldnt hurt to just go ahead and upgrade.
During the preheat, both the broil (upper) and bake (lower) elements will come on. Sounds like you have already replaced...
I just received a package in the mail today from etrailer for new lights all around the trailer. I have always ordered from them over other retailers and have NEVER had a hiccup! Shipping is always...
My initial plan for this year was to convert to hydraulic but that was before i was forced to repower so now the budget wont allow. It should definitely happen next year but i dont want to spend this...
Thanks for that link although im not artsy fartsy enough to recreate that lol.
Ive got a guy here locally that welded the anti-cavitation plate on my old motor a while back, maybe i can get him...
If i ever have one THAT stuck, i crush the bottom of the filter with a pair of channel locks with He-man strength until it squares off on two edges. The i use the channel locks to grab it and twist....
So an update with a follow up question........
I have lowered the jackplate another 3/8" and added a holeshot plate. My holeshot issues have gone away. I have adjusted and maxed out the trim tab...
The last time..... Yesterday! Several tournaments on the already pressured local lake. Fishing partner had one short fish on the day. At least the weather was beautiful and i got started on this...
