This is accurate. I have all the tools and catch no more fish than before. I can "see" more fish but catching is something different.
$7.00 at costco and it is already cooked.
Friend of mine has a Ranger 372V. Thinking about this same motor. I am pretty sure you Javelin is similar to his Ranger in size and weight. Interested to hear how this turns out.
I have the 24v maxxum. Not sure if it is the same or not.
As a follow up to this. I removed the covers, removed the bolt connecting the shift linkage to the shifting rod. Moved shift lever to the forward position and was able to make one full turn of the...
Slow wasn't slow enough... trying to keep swimbait inches off the bottom in 20 FOW. Not setting the hook but just keep reeling at the same speed until you knew it was hooked. Once I slowed down...
Went out with a guide once on my home lake. I had never caught one over 5 on that lake. The day I went with him I caught over 15 fish over 5lbs and two over 7 lbs. Even when he put me on the fish...
Really? Dang... I use it to switch from XD50 oiling to XD100 and to monitor codes. I saw the option for adjusting idle so I thought I could really do it.

Thanks,
FYI. I do have software that allows me to adjust idle through ECU.
I did drop lower unit to replace water pump. Never messed with shift rod. I guess I should have measured it before reinstalling lower unit. I assumed I could fine tune it with the cables. I must be...
Evidently I still don't have this correct.
When shifting into reverse it throttles up before it shifts into gear. Making the shift hard and sometimes grinding.
With that said... should the...
I guess there is a lot of truth in that. I used to play call of duty with my kids when they were young. As they became teens, and I got older I realized I could not compete with them. Gave up on...
I am 60.... fished most of my life but only a few tournaments ever. Not really into the tournament thing much. I come on here to read what is the latest and greatest thing going and man all I read...

Good info here. I have only been out with my livescope a couple of times. Both times I have felt the need for a turret because of wind pushing he boat around. About...
Finally got to get on the water saturday to try out the garmin force and livescope.
I like the force... pedal takes some getting used to as the resistance is very light compared to my old maxxum. ...
Met a guy from Cullman this weekend. When the topic of fishing came up... his only words were "if you and scope'n you hope'n"
Thats very cheap... At that price you don't have a lot to risk. Give them a shot and report back. I bought the Weize about 6-7 months ago when they are $289 and thought I got a steal. They have...
My starting battery is an AGM but might try a lithium one day as a starting battery. Lithium Trolling batteries have been amazing.

My 2009 Ranger has 380 hours on it. So I am only averaging 27 hours per year. I go around 35 - 40 times per year. So I am averaging a half hour to 45 minutes per trip.
I had one of those Tom Boy boats when i was a teenager in the late 70s - early 80s. Stick steer front the front seat. I thought I was king of Watts Bar lake.
I am missing something... looks the same to me.
I cracked the plastic housing and oil is leaking out. If anyone has one that is dead I would love to have it for parts.

I removed my 360 which I had installed a switch at the bow to turn off the power to the 360 when not in use. I am going to connect the black box to that switch so I can turn it off and on as needed....
