I have the same boat and motor on a 10" Atlas. Running a 24-3 Fury. Slips just a hair at break over, not enough to worry about. Boat runs 72-73 loaded down fishing full of fuel.

Thanks! Last night I ran 76 @ 5800 damn near on E fuel. I would have to empty the boat to get to 6K R's.

The motor is rated at 6200 R's. Ive been told the motor stops making torque at 5500. Im running a Triton TRX20 at 72mph @ 5500 LOADED!! 24-3 FURY. Any reason to drop to a 23-3 fury to run the moto...

Figure a gallon of gas is 6lbs, so you pump another 15-17 gallons in her add another 100 lbs. My three Tritons have always scrubbed off 3-5 mph with a full tank.
