So pull wires off plugs. Do I remove plugs one at a time to test or remove all while checking?
Ok I gotcha. I was trying to make it harder than it was. Thanks man
Sorry for my ignorance
By jump you mean ground?
J150glsde Johnson 150 trying to do compression test. Need to kill spark but on my model the engine will start with kill switch removed. Could I just remove postive power coming into motor and still...
Alright got new pump on and new fuel line/ bulb. Everything does great until I reach 4500 rpm then it loses power and rpms drop to 4000. Tried pushing in on choke and no change. Not sure it's related...
Ok still waiting on new pump but found and fixed leak coming from primer solenoid. One of the small lines coming from the back side was cracked so I cut off the bad section and put line back on...
That's what I thought. Until my pump gets here I just bypasses the vro. Cut and plugged oil inlet. Disconnected wire from oil tank and unplugged harness coming from vro. That right?
Ok off subject to other post but when I go to add oil to tank after filling up with gas the oil won't go into the tank. First time premixing with this boat but I'm thinking it has to do with the...
Alright I got the new pump on order but was playing with motor today and noticed a fuel leak. I primed up fuel bulb first. Went to depress key choke and could see fuel spitting out somewhere behind...
Yeah I definitely want to premix myself. That automatic injection just makes me nervous. Them pumps are cheaper than what I thought. expecting like 600$. I appreciate it.
Would that new vro pump take care if my issue or would I also need fuel pump? Sorry I'm not to good with motors.
That's what I was afraid of.
2006 Johnson 150 j150glsde. Alright first off I keep getting a no oil alarm. There's plenty of oil in tank so I cut engine prime oil bulb and alarm stops for a little while but eventually goes back...
To center the tray tie string on back of boat and run it to the front bow light. Center the string with your seat pedestal holes and make template from cardboard. Mines 3" from front and easy cut....
On my 70 maxxum I mounted the humminbird HD SI transducer with the shield and saver. Had to trim a bit of the skeg off and use a block to level with the trolling foot.
Good deal. Appreciate it
My boat came stock with the MK210 onboard charger. Not the PC or Digital charger the older version. Once fully charged do these chargers go into maintenance mode to prevent battery damage?
Will do thanks
Does it matter which contact goes to each wire? I've got the postive wire coming from the bow then the other positive wire coming from the battery
I purchased the blue seas 187 breaker. Now my question is which wires go where lol? It's not setup the same as my previous breaker
Awesome thanks guys.
I'm needing a 60 amp circuit breaker for my trolling motor. I'm hardwiring straight to battery so I want a breaker that has an on/off switch so I can kill power while charging. Any suggestions?
I'd like to have lithiums but that's a little over my budget. I appreciate the feedback man.
