mine is a stand alone unit but says to "check the live scope check the network".
Mine crashed this weekend after the latest update. Keep us updated.
I'm in agreement with MonteSS. The problem I have is the box is mounted in the bow and have to tear everything apart to re-connect. I'll be moving it to the Starbord rod box this winter.
Bottom. Closer is better. I only use the Carbon 12 for positioning.
I discovered the outer ring on the power cable was not tightening up. I replaced it with one that seems to lock. It is possible that the ring backs off and the cable loses its connection.

I am on the lake and drop shot brush piles and structure most of the time. Top water bite is on now. Guides are drop shooting night crawlers for walleye and bass.
Is there another update coming? My issue has not be resolved. The power cord they sent me was not tightening, so I got the original and it is much better. Unit came on first try then went into...
Owner of a Industrial Lumber company started in 1975 and still going strong.
Not a smart move.
Darby but he stays booked for a reason.
Updated mine on the water and everything looked good. So good that like a idiot, I sent the replacement unit back to Garmin. When I got back home same issue of not finding the transducer. It will...

Like it a lot. I use if for Livescope exclusively
Garmin has sent me a new box but I haven had time to install it. Has anyone that received a replacement box had any connection problems?
Mine is requiring multiple reboots but once connected no problems. Garmin is sending a new box.
Talked to support today, explained that it was taking multiple restarts to get the LVS 10 to connect and they are sending a new box. Very good CS.

After several trips with no problems mine only came on this weekend after several reboots.
Mine fired right up. Try making that the first thing you turn on.

I’ve had a 521C and now a L. Its really hard to tell a difference but I think the L is a little more solid.
My best advice is a GLoomis NRX rod. You will feel everything.
GLoomis NRX drop shot rod. Go with a 1/2 weight. We use them all the time.
Catching fish when the conventional equip says there is nothing there.
