seems like on my unit, when just the boat icon was present sometime the zooming would be jerky. activate the cursor with the joystick and then the zooming function would smooth out.ttry your unit out...

ok.....this is what I think....while in simulator, on mapping pane.the unit will zoom in and out smoothly without the cursor active or active, but in normal mold the zooming is somewhat erratic till...
