This forum is definitely better with a variety of boat brands . It is Ranger/Tracker heavy, though. I'm relatively new here but I get the point. If I don't want to read about Rt18s then I keep...
I'm getting 34 all day - stock boat, motor, and propeller - pushing me and my fishing buddy (I'm 175 and he's 220), faster with just me or my kid. But I'd look hard at how the engine is mounted...
I tow my TX17 with my 2011 Toyota Tacoma SR5 Pre-Runner. Tows just fine. I can tell it's back there when I stop but it's no different than pretty much anything else being towed. I love that truck....
Auto inflates typically are not rated for the dynamic stressors of sustaining a fall from a fast moving boat. I use a USCG approved type III with zipper and straps when running my boat.
Trim is key. I have to trim down on sharp turns, then adjust as needed to optimize the ride on a steady course. Looks like mine is mounted in top hole with stock prop. I get about 34-36 top end...
Thanks!
She's beautiful! Congrats.
Looking to do it right. There's lots of easy fixes. Was just wanting to see what other folks were using and maybe explore an upgrade to the bungee tie down. Thanks all. Appreciate the advice.
Looking for best practices in how you stow your micro pole in transit. I've been securing mine with my casting deck rod tie down but suspect there is a better way.
ideas?
ummmm no.
That's exactly what I was looking for.
Jeff,
That's kind of what I was looking to do; upgrade to a Velcro system. I have a power pole micro pole to secure while on the trailer and rods to secure once I'm on the water. I plan to take some...
I think I will try shortening the bungee first. Thanks all.
Bill, that is a great set up.
Love my Triton TX17. There is very little I'd change about it. However, the casting deck rod tie-down is the main thing I'd like to upgrade. Exibit a:...
I have a 2014 TX17 with Merc 60 four stroke. In my experience, it has been good. Some thoughts:
1. As expected, the four stroke is somewhat slow to plane compared to a traditional two stroke. My...
Ha! I think they look sharp.
Looks great! Your Crestliner is awesome!
I like the Garmen. It came with boat package (was a tournament prize boat). This thing has more bells and whistles than I really need but it's very capable for a modest price. It does everything I...
Mine has the Garmin echoMAP display flush mounted. It fits nicely. No issues with visibility.

It seems like I am one of the few Triton tins here on BBC but I have a 2014 TX17. It's been a great boat. Well built, very functional, rides great, and fishes very comfortably. I get complememts at...
Thanks. Looks loads better than the the plain white block letters I had before.
I went with Iguana as well.

Darryl did a great job matching the Triton script theme...
That is motivating! Nice fish.
Nice Stinger! Diamond plate tops on the trailer fender steps is a nice touch.
