If the yo Zuri has been good to you, I'd just stick with it IMO.
The new evergreen Combat sticks have a 6'8 Heavy glass model built for chatterbaits. I don't have one but have been super tempted to pick one up for the kayak.
Thanks for posting this! It reminded me I actually have some old 90° gearboxes laying around. I think I can cobble a few of your guys ideas together and come up with something!
Thanks Bill. That gave me some inspiration. I think I have some ideas coming together in my head now.
I use a black or white Stanley Ribbit. Helps come up top faster, and easier to skip with it. That said, I always carry a black skirt and white/chart skirt cavitron. Sometimes they just work better.
Thanks for the suggestions so far again. Looking for ways to make the setup adaptable to ice fishing as well. Doodling some ideas.
Selling a very nice custom built spinning rod.
Built by Matt Davis of otterods. Very well respected and good builder.

What kind of frogs are you planning on throwing, and what kind of cover?
I'll take them. Please send pm

Schaeffers is good stuff. We use it on all our heavy equipment, loaders, dozers, etc. I have not used the 219, but wouldn't be hesitant to run it.
When I had mine, I used the stock 1012 spool for shakeyheads and lighter tubes on a ML+ rod.
As kicker stated, you also have the option of swapping in a different spool. Many different options...
Vicious no fade
There's good ones on sale :beers:
A lot of it has to do with getting certain models and "authenticity" versus just ordering an import. It really has to do with what you want. For example, if you want a Type 56, then you have to find...
I use a copoly leader as my jerkbait rod is also my topwater rod.
