yes, I know....still looking for information
Any more info on this boat? Saw one last week....
PM sent on gimball bracket
still have this?
longshot ----- looking for the bottom plate that mounts to the boat for a quick release Xi5 bracket. I have a new top plate that mounts to the motor, might consider a complete set if priced low...
I use tape and a step drill, step drill is great for drilling FG,
What engine are you running? You may be hitting the rev limiter, mine is 5700.....
Precision Propeller?
If it has anti-skid floors instead of carpet and a bait hatch in the middle of the starboard live well it is a TX21, inter-coastal model. I have a 1999 and it is great overall. Cons are slow floor...
Thanks, I'll have to research that. I may try it on my 225 Opti but if it really is a 24p it probably won't be enough prop for it...
I've been looking at a lot of prop pics, possibly a Turbo TXP?
Trying to ID this old prop, 15 spline fixed large hub fits old 150 Black Max but too much prop for it. Only marking is inside the hub - M24 - I'm guessing 24p since my old motor would barely pull a...
I believe yours is similar to my 99 TX-21 with the main divided live well in the middle and the 2nd behind the drivers seat. I just replaced both my pump out and recirculating pumps on my starboard...
My new to me boat may have been upgraded......put ice and drinks in cooler at 2:30 pm on a 92 degree day, emptied cooler the next morning about 11am and still had cold water but no ice. Boat tries to...
Thanks, I might try one after I sell some extra props! I run a 25p Trophy now with good results loaded but sometimes hit rev limiter in cooler weather. Sometimes run a 26p Tempest Plus but it doesn't...
Tube trailers trap water inside and rust through from the inside unseen until too late......worse idea ever....
I would not worry about 500 hours on a well kept motor....
would like to see compatibility with Elite Ti and Ti2 added!
Driver issue yes.... at some point. But setup can make a difference also, especially if it is trying to start at 55. If the motor is too low on the transom more of the boat is out of the water sooner...
Cool, thanks. I didn't realize it went that far forward. My ram mount is on the deck over the compartment and I want to route the cables up through the deck under the mount instead of them laying on...
I am about to mount 2 fishfinders on the front deck a couple inches from the bow panel and would like to run the cables up thru the deck with the cable pass thru but it is too far forward to reach...
I have an old Nitro (almost same as Starfire) with the same problem. There are factory holes w/plastic inserts on each side where the arrows are but they clog easy and water floods the storage. I got...
I have read on here to cut out the bad floor at a 45 degree angle and to cut the new piece to match so it will be supported all the way around. Coat with EPOXY resin and then use glass and epoxy...
Mine is in the same shape http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/eyes.gif I have heard good about Newglass2 but haven't tried it yet. An actual new gelcoat is muy $$$$$$. Search for oxidation and...
Thats the way I would do it to help keep the screws from backing out.
The Lowes near me sell SS screws but I don't know what size you need either. I have always used an outdoor weaterproof carpet glue or contact cement with great results. You should really put a coat...
