I took mine off by grinding the screw heads off. PS - Make sure you have the console supported by something when you remove the head of the last screw....or a head ache will ensue.

I want to say the plugs that are in right now are for medium restriction.

The only adjustment I made was adjusting the motor up .25 inch on the jack plate and actually trimming the dang motor down all the way on takeoff. :confused2:

I have the 80 Ultrex, I love that machine for sure. When I decided to buy a boat I was going to put a Ulterra or Ultrex on it. I was lucky enough to buy a boat with a new Ultrex on it.

So after some fine tuning and adjusting, I want to thank everyone here for their response. I took the boat out this morning and she fired right out of the hole.

The prop to pad is at 2.75 now.

Do you think adjusting the jack plate up would help?
