Well I'll be! Thanks, it's right where you said
Tucked under nice and neat, I was expecting holes drilled somewhere. Nice little bracket there. Thanks.

Wondering if anyone can send a picture of where their holes are for attaching license plate to 1980cc dual axle trailer (or any dual axle avx trailer)?
For some reason, my trailer has zero holes...
@bassmasteria - at what setting does your Atlas plate work best (for a 'set it and forget it', unless stuck in 20 inches of water and need to get up on plane)? I've messed with mine a bunch, still...
Coming from a 17'7" Tracker it's amazing.
Speeds 55 at 1500 ft elevation. 51 at 5000ft elevation.
Better than expected in bigger water. Fishes very well.
Always a few little things. I'd gladly...
Ordered 12/22/2020, received 06/11/2021
Wondering for those with a 1980 or 1980cc - how far forward can you knock on the outside of the hull and hear / feel where the foam filled area starts/ends? On my 1980cc that point is obvious and...
For those with 150hp on a 1980 or 1980cc,
What is your jack plate setting optimal for general use?
Seems 2.5 is about right for me.
Thanks .
Well, really sorry the photos from my Android Pixel phone were upright when uploaded - now the seem to be upside down, like they were taken in Australia.........
Finally got my new 1980cc. Pictures attached. For those curious about 100% SeaDek. So far it's great - cleans easy, doesn't show dirt much at all (IMO).
Height to top of grab bar was a concern...
Thanks. Obviously I am clueless about livewells! Appreciate the response.
Guessing the entire avx line live wells are mostly the same.
I am almost certain I'll never use my live well so trying to figure out how to stop the livewell from taking on any water. Is there a...
That was a stupid post by me. Of course it'll be worth it!
Well, finally, I should have my 1980cc this Friday. I hope! SeaDek everywhere. All Garmin. I hope the almost 6 month wait is worth it.
@Jordanfrombikes - when did you order your boat? Thanks.
@Jordanfrombikes, have u heard anything new on your boat?? I have not other than last week dealer said nothing new.
No kidding!
I still haven't heard any definite dates for shipping my boat from the factory..........as noted earlier, ordered 12/22/2020, ETA then was late March to dealer, available to me early April. Right...
Ordered a 1980cc from dealer just before Christmas 2020. Per the dealer - boat is done, except no engine (ordered with Merc 150 proXS). Sounds like the chip shortage hitting the auto industry is...
Thanks everyone - appreciate it. I wish I could back 'straight' into the garage, then all this would be fairly easy - but it'll be at a angle due to driveway design, living on a sidehill, etc...... ...
About to take delivery of a boat that'll fit in the garage w/ about a foot to spare. Knowing me, I'll bump the boat into the back of the garage at times.
More precisely, bump the outboard engine. ...
My build is to begin March 10 (I hope) - meaning if all goes well, dealer will have available for me by mid April. When I ordered 12/23/20 - was told April - so, thankfully, that expectation appears...
Well, I found another option / accessory I hadn't added - so, now my 1980cc (beginning build March 10, I hope) will be getting Merc monitor in place of speedometer.
@DanielO337: That top console...
My 1980 CC is not in yet.......but, of course I'm thinking about small items that aren't factory available to add to a center console and wondering for others with a CC model what your favorite add...
Possibly - either way, our water around here is rather 'hard' until April and there's no ice auger option to put in place of the trolling motor :)!
Curious of others anxiously awaiting their Vexus order - what are you expecting for ETA?
My order was put in 12/23/20 - was told April 2021 (no specific date, understandably) - so, approximately...
