I bought that one too, it will not plug into mine. It has a 4 pin connector, even though it appears to only be using two pins. I tried connecting it to the same connector that goes to me NMEA buss....

I know this is an old thread, but where can I buy a diagnostic cable for my 2012 SHO? Also, is the 1.33 software compatible?
