I blew my prop out once and I quickly learned not to do that again, I guess some people’s learning curve is different lol.
Awesome!
I run a full size rock/mud guard that bolts to the truck’s hitch and it does a great job of keeping the boat clean. But if you run in the rain even it’s not going to help much.
I was close to buying one, but after thinking about it I felt like it was just too much motor for an xb2003. Hopefully that V8 will make that the 21’ boats feel like a 20 footer!
Nice
Guess it’s time to start drilling lol
What prop?
Bet that thing screams with 1.75s!! Overall all I like the promax, guess I’ll need to play with the pvs holes.
Yes
It bogged down for a second then took off, with no plugs if felt like the prop was venting to much and took about 4 seconds to come out of it. Guess I’ll plug 2 of them and try it. I also raised the...
The xb2003 with the heavier engine even with slide seat requires alot of port side ballast. So, my runs were with a passenger. Ran 30p promax with solid pvs plugs and it actually seemed to get on...
Has anyone compared the fuel consumption between the optimax and the V8?
How does 8 hole promax hole shot compared to an pro et or eagle 4 in the same pitch? I’m going to run it again tomorrow this time I plugged the holes just to try it. “By your test it’s going to be...
Yes I have 1.62s
So, I ran a 30p promax yesterday and overall it did great except the holeshot sucked compared to my 30p eagle 4 and 30p drag 4. Does adding the extra vent holes help fix this?
What size prop were you running? I timed mine the other day with a stop watch and my passenger recording. We went 4-97.6mph in 20 seconds with a 30p and 1.62 gears. Keep in mind Im running a 20’ not...
pm me your # and I’ll shoot you some pics tomorrow.
I made a prop holder.
Does no one carry a spare prop anymore? Who knows maybe the prop had a hairline crack already or was repaired before. There’s always that chance when buying a used anything.
I just bought a 30p but have not run it yet, man these blades are thick.
So, how does it compare to the 300xs?
It will be on a switch from now on.
I have 24v to the control board but when deployed no lights come on. Had the TM for a year now but this was the first time I put it in the water. After I initially installed it to make sure it worked...
I only charged it in the up position.
