Pm’ed you
Yes sir, it says max rpms
Try to load a picture of the sticker, but it clearly says 6000 and I thought that was kind of odd
Yes
Sorry, sticker says 2008
Looking at buying this
Serial 1B556336. Sticker says 6000 limiter? Is this right? Thanks
Hydrotec's flash dyno's between 350-360hp at the crank. gained easily 15mph with their flash. Fished at 75 or so with a 200, 92-93 with HT flash
Guy listed a boat for sale, says it is 21 foot. Says the title says SOE 21 ft. Anyone know what model this is?
Need to try to balance the boat. I add ballast to the port side to make up for the weight on the starboard side when fishing alone. (me) 200lbs. Or add water to the port livewell. I use a 3' level....
You could go back 2", total of 12", would help a lot.
I think they fixed the “rubbing issue”. On a Sho it will cut your slip in half, or close to it.

This is a run I made to 105 with troller, 1/2 tank and my gear. The Nizpro is ridiculous
Steve Glenn @ Hydrodynamic Jackplates could give you some info, or reach out to Nizpro. Different time zone, email is best. There are quite a few on that side of the world. We have gained (so far)...
2005 TR 196 with a Nizpro supercharged 200 Sho. Nizpro claims 450hp. 18" setback. Chris Bailey (CB Marine) driving. 10-15 gal fuel, 200 lbs ballast. 32 3 blade Hoss Hyperdrive. On the limiter. Chris...

TR 196, Nizpro supercharged 200 sho. Makes 450HP. These Earl Bentz/Roark Summerford hulls are unbelievable
The tach is reading 6400 @ 110, 1.62 gears, a stiff 30 Hyperdrive
The key to how it handles is the Hydrotec coned lower, the setback plus we are running it around 2" above the pad. HydroTec has a homerun with this lower.
Someone posted a vid of my TR 196 running 110, that was 2005 TR 196, 19'8". 1655 lb hull. We built an aluminum deck extension, pad is stock. 200 Sho wit a Nizpro Supercharger, Sho lower with 1.62...
They add a nosecone to the front of the lower unit. Close the water pickups, add the water pickups to the bottom of the lower. It makes the lower unit longer, I thinks it lifts the boat better, def...
I would use Hydrotec. If you spend the money on the flash, have them cone your lower. On a TR 196 with a fishing load, myself, I was running 92 in good water. The cone is at least as important as the...
You may have trim extenders on it, reduces the "tuck" by about 5 degrees. But a Bailey's foil will reduce bowlift during hole shot, and look super cool as well
Need to know if it is a 200 Optimax, a 200 Pro xs, or a 200 EFI
The blades will slow your 196 down a bit. Might want to try a 25 or 26 Bravo1 xs. 25 trophy would also be a good choice. 10" plate, 2-2.5" below.
I have the same model, it’s based on the length of the boat. Anything under 20 feet or between 19 and 20 feet is rated for a 200.
