This is my setup. Wife and I tow with the RV and our son and great grandson drive the launch vehicle.

They match the boat so much better than the original seats.

I'll post some pictures when I get them back and installed. Should look way better than the original seats.
Sounds like you have a plan. Please keep us posted on how it works out.
Shipping for 2 bucket seats, One folding pedestal seat, and one butt seat packaged in 2 boxes measuring 24X24X20 shipped from Oregon to Arkansas was $410 plus the 2 boxes cost an additional $20...
Easier to prop 1.6.
I have 1.6 on my 250 and run a 30 pitch. With 1.75 I would need 32 to 34 for same top end at the same RPM. Not sure about the max rpm on a 300R.
Might want to ask the same...
Ron, the quote I got from Dean's was about $1700 for recovering the 2 bucket seats, the rear folding seat, and the butt seat. I did ask for a couple of special items to be done. Also shipping for me...
At 94.8 the rpms are about 5900. From other threads about 2005 250XS that is the peak performance.
I run the Performer props and have for years. I have 3 of them and all 3 have lasted well.
Best speed has be 94.8 with both a 30 Performer 4 BC and a worked 30 Performer 3. I also have a 28...
Good sharing of ideas. Food for thought on both setups.
I guess for me, if is ain't broken after 23 year, don't change it is the plan. That statement it not quite true as I have kind of changed...
I have pulled mine twice since I got the boat. Neither time was easy.
Mine came from the factory 23 years ago setup just like Paul described. Never had an issue.
What are you doing for a high speed transducer? I mounted my 3-1 transducer just behind and even with the pad but still loose depth info when I get on plane.
I did get the boat out on Saturday. River was very high with about 1.5 feet of visibility.
Batteries worked great. After 2.5 hours of pulling against a 2.5 mph current, the trolling motor...
Sweet looking 93.

Completed the installation of the batteries. They are now charged and ready to go. Now I just need the weather to cooperate.
I'll post a picture once I have mine done.
Agree on 3/8 stud. Headed to the hardware store as soon as my new 50 AMP breaker arrives.
I will also share one complaint about Ionic Batteries. They need to design in handles. There is no way to...
Mine has a 1/32 to 1/16 (can't measure to be exact) plastic (not exactly sure of material) sheet between the jack plate and the transom. It came that way from Stroker when I bought the boat. I plan...
Thanks for the pics. I was trying to keep it close to the alternator. Mostly worried about heat from the engine.
Another question. I just got the Ionics in the boat and went to connect the...
Pictures are always good.
How and where on the engine did you mount it? There is a metal tab just below the alternator that I can attach it to. Not sure about heat and cowling clearance.

A couple of you mentioned the Sterling alternator protector. Where and how did you install it? I have the wiring diagram, that is the easy part. Did you mount it in the boat and run wire up to the...
Ron, thanks for the feedback. I think for now I will do option 2 as that is how the wiring is setup now.
