Appreciate the feedback. Will stick with 7'-7'1'" rod for the 128 Pointers. Any longer rod would most likely be too cumbersome to work properly.

That setup with swim senko should work well at Clearlake, espy this time of the year with the lake being so low. Most of the tulles and weeds are high and dry. Won’t need pulling power.

Would the rods recommended for jerk baits, in another post, like the Dobyns 685, Expride 610, ALZ Zolo Jerkbait, be overwhelmed by a LC 128 Pointer (1oz). Or, maybe, a longer rod for casting and line...

Not to hijack thread, would I need any special tools to change out the end and spool bearings on the Curado E's?

The NOCO lithium jump starters are great. However, the user manual states that one should only use them for lead-acid batteries. Not recommended for AGM's or other types of batteries.
