They are both the same starter. On most Mercury starters there is a Delco part reference number as well, just FYI

I get the same speed with less rpms...5700 when at 5.5 below pad

Raising the motor to 2 inches below pad with my 10 inch setback jackplate I can get 5850 rpms and 67 mph with two dudes and full gear and atleast half a tank of fuel.

The prop is a 25 pitch...

..when I get roughly 5800 almost 5900 I can't get any more speed

5 and a half inches below pad is the prop shafts measurement

Rpm's are right about 5700 max. I will measure the engine height - pad to prop shaft

I have a 2014 Triton 21xs with a 250 Pro XS 10 inch manual jackplate Tempest 25 pitch

Top speed is 67mph with 2 guy, fully loaded
