I didn't hear any beeps, and now it's like there is no power to the talon, everything is still hooked up, fuse is good. I'm at a lose.
I did check the quick disconnect and cleaned them without any luck, kind of stumped. Thanks for the reply though
Any one have this problem? Now it's like there is no power to it. When it was stuck down I would hit the button and you would hear a click but nothing would happen. Now no led lights will light up....
Thanks for all the info, after the videos and results from others I don't think mine is as bad as I thought. Thanks again
I had the whale tail on a 96' 884 savage nitro with a 150 merc, which also helped on the hole shot, it never compared to the newer skeeters hole shot. But they couldn't touch me top end, so I don't...
Well maybe mines not as horrible as I thought, sounds like mine acts the same as yours or fairly close anyway, I do have the 4rth battery as well. But is that normal when you hit it it almost wants...
I have 2 plugged, closest to bullet
I believe they are mounted as high as possible, so I don't think it's that. And I do have a plate on bottom of jackplate so that's not catching water
I have a 2011 z8 with 250. When I blast off the boat seems like it spools first before it takes off. Is this normal? Just seems a bit weird to me as I don't think the hole shot is that great. Has...
It may be just worn cables, I had a 96' with the cables put jack plate on, I over trimmed and cables hit jack plate and bent them. Was nasty to steer after that put new cables on and it felt like...
I've been having the same issue, I chimed in on bbc. Ryan Todd another member of bbc happened to live not far from me, we met at a lake and he watched me drive and knew I was gonna have to back out....
The jack plate on my boat is drawing power while sitting in garage, if anyone has any ideas on why this would be happening any advice would be appreciated. Thanks Kevin
Not sure, easiest way is to take bearings out and duplicate
Your right, he was preventing it. I was thinking it would do a little better than that after hearing what guys on BBC are getting. Perhaps with a different prop it could, and I'm sure the talons...
I'm running it at 2.75 prop to pad, when Ryan was driving it, he did bump it up to 2.5 and it seemed to handle well, but then again he knows how to drive it. Since then I haven't had a chance to get...
I had a 96' 884' I had a 6" manual jack plate with a 24 fury. And it worked really well. I wish I knew prop to pad but I didn't have to play with it after I put the fury on. It just worked
With your prop and set up, maybe the pp's helped you. I do have the talons, I run a 27 bravo, at 68-69 it really wants to chine. I also tried a 26 fury and had same results. Sure I could not trim up...
Thanks to Ryan Todd for helping me out with the chine walk. We took my boat out, he watched me drive it and knew I was to late on the corrections. He drove it, and explained what he was going to...
I'm having same issues, I need more seat time, or you should make a road trip north to Minnesota, lol jk
I think he can go to a 150 on that boat, which will help a lot. Heavy boat for a 125. Sounds like you need to raise motor, if you ant trim down all the way with tounge all the way down, seems odd why...
Why is it impossible to measure prop to pad? What r's are you running? Other than whole shot why are you looking to go down on pitch? Lacking r's. Also correct me if I'm wrong, that's an 18' boat...
Also not thinking it's the belt since its drawing from battery sitting in garage when switch is on with nothing else on
It was a interstate 24, had issues so added a 27 for The graphs and talons and just have the master power to the 24. Which I don't think anything is wired the master power since all electronics work...
Got the boat this summer, so not really sure how every thing is wired. No electronics are hooked directly to battery. Just the master power. With master power turned on, no live wells or bilge turned...
