I have a crestliner vt18 in cao with spray in with a 115 and it's been awesome. Love the versatility of a tin boat and with no carpet I don't mind running lines on the river from time to time.
I don't have that issue but I bought mine used and the dealer decided to move the motor to the top hole and I don't pull the RPMs or the speed like others.
