I had th same problem with my 1990 200XP,it was the carbs cloged up,cleaned and put in new kits,runs like a new motor now.

I use GOOP hand cleaner and water and dry with a rag,looks and feels like new.

I have a 1990 E200SLESE,it seems to run fine at 65 to 70 mph at 5400 rpm,but it surges every few mim's to 5800 rpm for a few second's then back to 5400 rpm,what could be causeing this? Thank you...

ran boat yesterday ,ran good (81.4 gps) but had blow out while getting on plane,once on plane hold on and ohhhh shhhh it would fly,think I will have to lower motor a little to stop blow out....

just got a 1990 200 evinrude looper,ran it yesterday for frist time,it started on frist try,but had a hard time getting on plane,once on plane it ran good,but could only 50 to 55 mph @5600 rpm out of...
