Mine is direct connections to the battery. I'll have to verify the gauge but it is either 8 or 10.

Nice!
I had this problem yesterday after work, glad I saw and remembered the thread, reseated the big transducer plug to the black box and problem went away....so far.
Thanks for posting. I did this (temporarily??) until I can figure out how I want to mount the Livescope independent of the trolling motor.
I got an alert today from Tackle Warehouse that they had four on hand, quickly got online and ordered one. Got shipping notice around 7ish that it will be here on Friday.
As an aside, yesterday,...
Oh, one other cool thing. When I spider rig water deeper than 8', I go with 12 foot poles versus 16 footers. Doing that this weekend, I could see my half ounce weight on each of my rods in the water...
Once I understand what it is doing???
So far the only advantage I see is transom mount 360 offset icon goes forward and the trolling motor 360 offset goes backward. I was hoping to extend it out...
So I called HB about the 898's rebooting when I go to a 360 View after I have stopped pinging and move to a new location, then try to start pinging again. They think it is a power issue, i.e, I'm...
I have not noticed heat, but I haven't run it out of water either.
Again, if it is ok to let it keep running out of water, that's great and I'll do that for now on. I'm just looking for...
Actually we don't. I'd prefer to be able to go spot to spot without having the reboot issue. I'd like to know WHY it is important to stop pinging.
Page 18 of the manual says "It is important to stop pinging the 360 imaging transducer when it is not in use"
Doug, Do I need to stop pinging the Bow mount 360 whenever I pull it from the water to go to another area? It is a pain as it takes a while for my 898's to see it and even then, sometimes they will...
Mine arrived today. I'll take a look at it tonight.
I wouldn't brag on the Wheeler images. Spring Creek is inaccurate. Mallard Creek is ok, as it shows that channel leading to the bridge and the shallow flats around it.
Guntersville and Pickwick's...
I bungie the head with the packing material that it shipped in when going up and down the lake.
That information is on my TM 360 box as well. That is not photoshopped.
The bow unit comes with power and ethernet extension cables. I mounted the connectors of the extension cables to my bow panel that housed my tilt toggle and trolling motor plug.
It is now part of...
Nice idea. I too have a Terrova. I made something out of PVC temporarily as I wasn't sure where in relation to the trolling motor I wanted it. Once I get to the permanent solution, I may have to...
With the bow-mount 360, theoretically how much of the signal will be blocked by the trolling motor or its shaft?
Doug, been gone a while. Glad you got those coordinates up. Just as I suspected.
I'll try to do screen shots of Garmin's and Navionics images of the areas that you posted plus mine when I get some...
Bump.
I'd like to see Lakemaster examples of the coordinates provided.
Here are a few:
34 21.293N 86 19.940W,
34 26.046N 86 20.191W,
34 40.113N 87 1.584W,
34 36.142N 86 53.094W,
ranger guy, lakemaster has not done much for alabama. ido not recommend purchasing for those waters.
On Eufaula, go to the left and up a bit on Barbour Creek and show us a snap shot.
On Guntersville, go down about half a screen and show us how Brown Creek looks.
Hint: I bet there is a lot of...
Kosmo, another couple of nice shots. Did you come across that or already know it was there?
