I know this is an old thread, but to update: I spoke to a Vexus regional rep and he told me the dry weight for the 1980 without the motor is 1580#. So anyone wondering.

So I'm looking into getting a 1980 next year. Made a few calls and found out that the 2024 models will have the same hull as the 1980c but will have a bass boat layout. So no more narrow front deck.

Sheesh, I'm gonna be picking between the Lowe 8 Series Stinger 198, CL MX19, and the Ranger RT 198P... Decisions, decisions.
